HONOLULU – The Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii Foundation, in cooperation with the City and County of Honolulu under the leadership of Mayor Peter Carlisle, is proud to present its 5th Annual “A Taste of Kalihi Festival” on Saturday, November 19 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Colburn Street on the corner of Dillingham Boulevard and McNeil Street in the Dillingham Shopping Plaza area.
“A Taste of Kalihi Festival” is Kalihi’s block-party celebration highlighting its rich history and promises to be a family event aimed at celebrating and exploring the treasures that this colorful and historical district has to offer. The celebration acts as a catalyst for improving Kalihi's economic base as Kalihi-based companies, small businesses, and community organizations participate in this festival which will feature food, drinks, a bit of history and family-friendly activities. A Great Family Day to enjoy!!
Experience the area's unique flavor through a sampling of the town's delicious Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Local Cuisine and more! Also, dynamic entertainment, games, contests, and other exciting activities including Hawaii’s Largest Electric Slide Dance, Zumba Exhibitions, Hip Hop and Breakdancing, and entertainment by live bands and groups, and amazing Cultural Dance throughout the day going well into the evening.
