January 27, 2013 Sunday Church and community activities======CHURCH ==========My wife and I went to church as regular officer/member of the Church.=========We helped in the distribution of bangus and longanisa for our fundraising=====We attended the special meeting for the Bishops Committee as Fr Randy will be going for 3 weeks vacation========In attendance clockwise from Fr. Randy is Carlos V, LOSP president; Lita P, new bishop's Warden, Gloria Y, BC member and Chair for Ushers/usherettes and co-chair, Ticket committee; Irene V, BC member, and Choir member; Maribel D,BC member and Chair, Valentine's Event; Faye J, BC member and clerk; Albina G, member BoA; Peter Wu, deacon; Marcelo A, former BW; Linda B, Junior Warden; Fely M, BC member and WOSP president; Amonio D. BC member; Coordinator Altar prep; ==========================Fr Randy assigned Amado and Marcelo to do announcement during first mass; while Lita and Faye for the second mass===========I suggested that the Valentine's Committee meeting shall as needed --- in the event Fr Randy is on vacation==========reasong being to make some followups and progress reports about the Feb 23 Valentine's Event==========Carlos to get the 12 crosses to polish them, then, Albina to put the strings, then Gloria will keep it until Fr. Randy comes back so Father will bless these crosses===========Valentine's ticket: $10.00 for kids 4-12 years old=====================COMMUNITY===== COMMUNITY=====COMMUNITY The OFCC: I attended the Board meeting today t the FilComCenter======In attendance: First table: Legal CounselDaisy Hartsfield, OFCC president Jean Jeremiah; AARP Hawaii Coordinator Jackie Boland, guest; OFCC secretary Julius Soria============Second table: Cleo, Vanessa, Rhoda, Baybee, Ilalo; Ignacio, Van, Armi, Marina T, Letty Saban, Jenny,=======3rd table: Ryan Fernandez, Ariel Agcaoili, Eddie Agas, Danny Villaruz, Loida Yamamoto, Charlene Cuaresma,========4th table: Miss Oahu Heaven Fines, Amado Yoro, pacita Saludes, Albina Gamponia, Rossi Patton=========================As a Chair for the Special Projects, I made my midterm report for the Adopt a Hway, and Feeding the Homeless=================preented the new schedules for the 2013: Feeding is last Monday of the month; Adopt is quaterly: April 27, July 20, Oct 26============As a Co-Chair for the Annual OFCC convention 21013 that will be on JUNE 9 at the Philippine Consulate: Reminders to all: April 10=====Official notice will be sent out to all unit organization via first class maila 60 days-45 days before the day of the convention===============May 10------submission of all proposed Bylaws amendment- a 30 days before the convention========May 26========deadline to ALL MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL WITH APPROPRIATE FEES, REGISTRATION OF DELEGATES WITH APPROPRIATE FEES, RESOLUTIONS, NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES: 3 opening for the Board being, Ablan, Cabatu, Domingo, Gudoy will be out per term of office requirement==============
