STEWARDSHIP ======================= FUNDRAISING EFFORTS be the first priority. Because of the multiple fundraising are going on, we suggested that the committee must conduct a SURVEY as we have to find out the feedback from the membership as a whole- this is a 'customer driven' project; at least find out the TOP 3 products to sell. Hoku Chicken tentative schedules: Oct 12, 2013 1000 chickens x $2.27 net per chicken =$2270.00 [$7.23/ck 1200 chickens x $2.48 net per chicken =$2976.00[$7.02/ ck We do not cook. Hoku do the cooking, we pick up, we unpack, and repack by 1, 5, 10 each package.======================== Hoku will print our tickets. We’ll provide the information: dates, price $9.50 and venue. EDUCATIONAL AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT must be encouraged in order to give the youth and young adults the opportunity to participate - more participation and find a quality programs for them.====We suggested to define who are the youth and young adults by setting up an age bracket-----from here, we can re-organize the youth=====We suggested to have them meet • Youth representative to sit in BC meetings • Coordinate Hawaii Food Bank Drive between the month of April to Sept 1. Deliver to HFB on Sept 2.============================ • Bring can food donation to church every Sunday until Sept 1 at the Picnic. ================================= C. SOCIAL AND FAMILY CONNECTIONS We can plan the Sept 1 Labor Day/Family Picnic= Neal Blaisdell Park, Pearl City • Need to obtain park permit: 3 weeks before the event D. COMMUNITY OUTREACH/HELPING HANDS Community service/outreach by way of pro-active participant of the a. MISSION DAY SERVICE with the Institute for Human Service – feed the homeless each month===== b.
