2014 PROPOSED OFCC BYLAWS AMENDMENTS------DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION MAY 14, 2014 PROPOSED OFCC BYLAWS AMENDMENTS 2014 By Amado I. Yoro, Co-Chair, Convention Committee, Council of Past President, Co-Chair; OFCC president 1982 ========================== 1. Admission to Membership, Section 2, Article III. Admission to membership to the Council shall be in written application by a unit organization on the form provided therefore, duly signed by the unit organization’s appropriate officers, together with the payment of the initial dues, and list of the current individual members and their mailing addresses at the time of application for Council membership============== ADD such unit applicant shall be duly registered non profit organization with DCCA Hawaii..ADD: The Council reserves the right to deny applicant on the basis of affiliation with local, national and international group, society, and association. ===================== 2. Renewal of Membership, Section 5, Article III. Unit organization shall renew their membership dues annually by payment of the appropriate dues.============ ADD: Such unit organization shall be active and good standing status with Hawaii DCCA. ============================= 3. Reinstatement, Section 8, Article III.=================== ADD: Such unit organization shall be active and good standing status with the DCCA Hawaii, ======================== 4. Convention Arrangement, Section 7, Article IV,=================== ADD: Determine delegate fee subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. ========================= 5. Convention Fee, Section 8, Article IV, ============INSERT: CONVENTION COMMITTEE between determined and by the Board of Directors ======================= 6. Reports, Section 9, Article IV, ===============ADD: seven [7] days before the convention =============== 7. Removal, Section 8A, =============ADD: Such removed/resigned officer/director in ineligible to seek elective position after two [2] years, five years if ground of removal is negligence or dereliction of duties, ====================== DELETE: This provision does not apply to Directors who are presidents of unit organization. ==================== 8. Task Force on Youth, Section I-F, ==============ADD: Work hand and hand with the Special Projects, Social Action Committees. May form own group with respective officers as Junior OFFICERS for good opportunity in youth leadership development
